The Two Rivers Mall – a monumental shopping centre in Nairobi, Kenya, is part of a Sh25.1 billion development by Centum Group, which is majority owned by billionaire Chris Kirubi.

Located in the Gigiri, Runda, Gigiri and Muthaiga neighbourhood, the 65,000sqm mall that opened its doors to the public on February 14, is touted as the largest shopping facility in east and central Africa.

The development consists of a shopping mall, office blocks, medium density residential homes, a three star and a five star hotel among other amenities.

  2. Give me a break. Where on earth can one soul own a building such like this? This is a shame and selfishness that happens in Kenya. Down the road not even 5 miles away there are kids and families going to bed with no food and yet one silly individual owns I don’t know how many billion of cash building. What is happening here? God bless and have Mercy to my mother land.

  3. From the photos, looks like an architectural disaster. Not sure I want to be part of this….will continue shopping from my local Supa, Gikomba furniture, local butchery and shun this cold hearted capitalism!!!!!

  4. Trump is right. Why should USA give AID to Kenya when two super-rich Kenyans can fund all HIV programs? Fund govt to pay doctors and dons and not feel a dent in their stinking rich accounts!!!
