British luxury car maker Bentley is speeding into the world of architecture with its latest venture – Bentley Tower Miami – which seeks to redefine urban living.

The 61-storey tower, which is formally known as Bentley Residences, is designed to offer its inhabitants the convenience of driving straight into their apartments.

This kind of access will be provided by Dezervator lifts – named after the project developer: Dezer Development – which will carry drivers to in-apartment garages.

The Bentley Towers Miami will feature four Dezervators that will transport cars to the topmost floor of the 749 ft building designed by architect Sieger Suarez.

Each lift has a hydraulic system that grabs a car by its tyres to pull it on top of a robotic shuttle system that carries the vehicle up or down as required.

According to Bentley, each unit will have a four-car garage complete with the option of EV charging points to give residents a convenient storage for their cars.

“RFID stickers will be placed in all residents’ own cars, which will be automatically scanned on arrival into the building, triggering a sophisticated lighting system to guide the driver to the correct Dezervator to reach their own floor,” Bentley says.

The technology recognizes the address of the resident and carries the vehicle directly to the correct apartment without the driver having to press any button.

“The modern and progressive brand identity of Bentley Residences is at work in both the tower’s interior and exterior spaces, rooted in authenticity, sustainability and innovation,” says Bentley Motors chairman Adrian Hallmark.

Bentley Tower Miami – the first ever Bentley-branded residences – will open in 2026, with units available from $4.2 million.

Last year, Sales Gallery was opened near the site of the future Bentley Residences, in Sunny Isles Beach, Miami, to give prospective buyers a chance to acquaint themselves with the architectural development.

Those unable to make it to the site for an in-person experience can make a virtual reality tour of the property. Within the virtual tour, prospects can experience the building as the residents will, either travelling in on foot or arriving by car.

They will also virtually experience the Dezervator, in-unit garages, and more to whet their appetites for the apartments that are officially on sale.
