Kubota’s New SVL110-3 Packs 112.7 HP for Tougher Jobs

Kubota has launched its largest compact track loader yet, the 112.7-horsepower SVL110-3, targeting contractors handling demanding land clearing, road construction and earthmoving work.

The new loader builds on Kubota’s SVL97-3 platform with a 112.7-horsepower engine, 45 gallons per minute of auxiliary hydraulic flow and a rated operating capacity of 3,700 pounds at 35% of tipping load, rising to 5,286 pounds at 50%.

The machine weighs 12,322 pounds and delivers 7,650 pounds of bucket breakout force.

Kubota Product Manager Anna Kitzerow said the company designed the SVL110-3 after observing customers’ shift towards larger, higher-capacity machines.

“The reason we did that is we know as customers are looking for bigger machines, higher capacity, we want it to be able to serve that customer segment. So people like your land clearing customers, road construction as well as that heavy dirt work,” she said.

The SVL110-3 shares its basic frame with the SVL97-3, but Kubota built in upgrades to boost productivity. It comes standard with 300 pounds of extra counterweight for better lifting, and a guarding package is available as an option.

The machine targets contractors in need of greater performance from a compact footprint, particularly in demanding applications such as forestry work, mulching and large-scale dirt operations.

One of the major additions is Kubota’s new Auxiliary Performance System (APS), designed to improve efficiency when operating demanding hydraulic attachments such as mulchers.

The system automatically balances power between the tracks and the attachment, directing more power where it is needed during operation.

“When you’re running your hydraulic attachment out in front of you, the system engages and you hit that 2300 rpm level. It’s going to keep you there,” Ms Kitzerow said.

The SVL110-3 also introduces hydraulic and coolant heat management, allowing the machine to regulate temperatures to protect the engine during intensive work. A new creep mode gives operators greater control at low speeds, particularly for precision tasks such as trenching and back dragging.

Kubota has also redesigned several maintenance and durability features. Hydraulic lines have been moved away from the loader arms to reduce the risk of damage during land clearing operations, while a new tool-less swing-out radiator improves access for routine servicing.

“You pull the handle, swing the door open, get access to everything. So it’s going to make those daily maintenance items a lot quicker,” Ms Kitzerow said.

The new model is expected to begin arriving at Kubota dealers from April.

Compact track loaders remain a strong part of the US construction equipment market, with more than 56,000 units sold between May 2025 and April 2026. Kubota accounted for 27% of sales.
