Le Mirage: Westlands’ Next Skyline Landmark
The residence offers 256 luxury one- to three-bedroom serviced apartments.

Nairobi’s Westlands district is set to welcome Le Mirage Residences, a 33-storey hotel-residential development that promises to blend luxury living with world-class hospitality.
The project along Parklands Road will become Westlands’ second-tallest building, just shy of the 35-storey JW Marriott, which sits prominently in the Global Trade Centre (GTC) complex at the junction of Waiyaki Way, Westlands Road, and Chiromo Lane.
Unveiled at the 2025 Future Hospitality Summit Africa in Cape Town, the project is a collaboration between regional hotel group CityBlue Hotels and local developer SMB Properties.
CityBlue’s chief executive, Jameel Verjee, describes it as “a synthesis of lifestyle and long-term value,” with 256 serviced apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms and over 52,000 square feet dedicated to wellness, lifestyle, and recreational amenities.
“The residence will feature 256 luxurious units of one to three-bedroom apartments, and construction is expected to be complete by the last quarter of 2027,” Verjee said.
He added that the property is already 50 per cent sold, with CityBlue Hotels managing operations on behalf of purchasing clients.

According to SMB Properties’ managing director, Taher Saleh, Le Mirage Residences is designed to meet the rising demand for high-end homes in Kenya. “Its prime location, superior design, and comprehensive amenities will set new benchmarks in the market,” he said.
Le Mirage will join a district already bustling with hotel developments. Recent arrivals include Hyatt House from the US, Park Inn by Radisson, and Mövenpick, alongside local chains such as PrideInn, which continues to grow in the area.”
“Westlands is the epicentre of a residential, commercial hub,” Verjee noted.

The area’s growth is supported by high land valuations—average prices now stand at Sh488.8 million per acre—and a concentration of corporate tenants, including Deloitte, PwC, and Safaricom.
“Westlands is the second CBD for Nairobi and an important commercial hub with a big Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Exhibitions potential,” said Sakina Hassanali of Hass Consult.
Scheduled for completion in late 2027, Le Mirage Residences is a statement of ambition, signalling Westlands’ emergence as Nairobi’s premier destination for luxury living and investment.
