The compact track loader market keeps growing, led by top brands and models.

Kubota has cemented its position as the top-selling compact track loader in both new and used categories, edging out other leading brands like John Deere and Bobcat.

Publicly available data shows that the Kubota SVL75-3 was the top-selling new compact track loader from early 2024 to early 2025, while the Kubota SVL75-2 led used sales.

The data also lists the Kubota SVL97-2, John Deere 325G, and Bobcat T66 among the top-selling new models, with demand driven largely by the construction and landscaping sectors.

Here’s a closer look at the top-selling CTL models by category:

Top-selling new track loaders

Kubota SVL75-3: This is the single best-selling new model. 

Kubota SVL97-2: Second overall in Q2 2024 and first-half 2025 sales.

John Deere 325G: This model consistently ranks among the top sellers. 

Bobcat T66: This model also appears frequently in the top-selling lists. 

Other top-selling new models include the Cat 255, Cat 265, Bobcat T770, Kubota SVL65-2, Deere 333 P-Tier, and Cat 299D3, among others across the compact track loader segment.

Top-selling used track loaders

Kubota SVL75-2: This is the best-selling used compact track loader.

Deere 333G: A consistent top performer.

Cat 259D3: Among the most in-demand used models.

Bobcat T770: A long-standing favorite in the used market.

Other top-selling used models include the Cat 259D, Kubota SVL95-2, Deere 325G, Bobcat T66, Bobcat T650, and Deere 317G, among others.

Market trends

Kubota dominance: Kubota leads the new compact track loader market.

Rising demand: The demand for new compact track loaders is increasing, with a 12.9% rise in new units sold year-over-year from March 2024 to February 2025.

Sale price and machine age: During the same period, the average price for used compact track loaders slightly decreased, while the average age remained flat.
