Crypto Tower: Dubai’s New Hub for Blockchain and AI
Crypto Tower showcases Dubai’s aim to become a global digital innovation hub.

Dubai has begun construction on Crypto Tower, set to become the world’s first commercial building fully dedicated to the decentralised internet and digital assets.
The 17-storey tower in southwest Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) will offer 150,000 square feet of leasable space, including nine floors for blockchain, crypto, and AI firms.
Crypto Tower is a project by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and REIT Development, showing Dubai’s goal to become a leading center for digital innovation.
The National Engineering Bureau (NEB) is overseeing design, engineering, approvals, and on-site supervision. According to its chief executive Jamil Jadallah, Crypto Tower is set to become a cornerstone of the digital economy in the United Arab Emirates.
“We are committed to providing services that reflect innovation, ambition, and impact. At NEB, we believe in shaping the future of urban development,” he said.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chair of DMCC, emphasised the tower’s strategic role: “Serving as a physical anchor for DMCC’s growing community of over 3,400 tech companies – including more than 700 within our Crypto Centre – the tower will provide premium, purpose-built office space for the next generation of digital enterprises.”
He added that the project would accelerate the transformation of Uptown Dubai and JLT into “two of Dubai’s most dynamic business districts, reinforcing DMCC’s position as a global hub for crypto, Web3, and advanced technologies.”

Karen Kriska, VP of Operations at Crypto Tower, praised NEB’s involvement: “We are thrilled to partner with the National Engineering Bureau as our trusted design and supervision consultant. NEB has an extraordinary legacy of designing and supervising hundreds of buildings across Dubai, including many iconic projects in the JLT area.”
“Their deep knowledge of the local regulatory environment, paired with their track record of architectural innovation, makes them the perfect partner to bring Crypto Tower to life as a landmark destination for the Web3 community.”
Construction is now underway, with the tower expected to provide a hub for more than 700 crypto and blockchain companies within a wider ecosystem of 3,400 tech firms, signalling Dubai’s growing leadership in the global digital economy.
