Kubota dealerships across the United States are expected to receive the new SVL65-2s compact track loader by the end of the year, bringing a fresh iteration to the popular CTL line.

The SVL65-2s, the second-smallest model in Kubota’s compact track loader range, retains the core specifications of the SVL65-2 it replaces while adding operator comfort and performance upgrades first introduced on the company’s larger next-generation machines.

Kubota promotes the vertical-lift SVL65-2s as offering “dependable performance in compact spaces while maintaining a budget-friendly price point.”

According to the company’s website, the entry-level model costs around $2,000 more than the previous SVL65-2 but approximately $8,000 less than the lowest-priced SVL75-3, Kubota’s top-selling CTL.

The SVL65-2 weighs up to 8,631 pounds, lifts 2,100 pounds, and optional high-flow hydraulics run attachments smoothly.

Kubota SVL65-2s Features

Upgrades like Kubota Shockless Ride make the ride smoother over rough terrain, keep material securely in the bucket, and greatly reduce operator fatigue during long workdays.

An auto-shift function automatically adjusts torque during turns to maintain traction, while track response can be customised via an LCD touchscreen with settings for “mild,” “normal” or “quick.”

The colour touchscreen itself sits to the right of the operator for improved visibility and access. It includes a keyless start system, allowing up to 50 passcodes to be stored.

Cab Configurations

The SVL65-2s is available in both open and closed cab configurations. Closed-cab models feature a Bluetooth radio for hands-free calls, while all versions offer a rearview camera, two-speed travel with maximum speed of 7.1 mph, and optional heated air-suspension seats.

Operators can also benefit from slide-up front doors, self-leveling buckets, electronic torque travel management, and advanced multifunction hydraulics for simultaneous operation of multiple functions.

Maintenance and convenience features include a slide-and-tilt radiator and oil cooler, tilting cabin up to 71 degrees, LED work lights, replaceable cab handrails, and rubber tracks in 12.6- or 15-inch widths.

“The SVL65-2s delivers the same dependable performance our customers count on,” said Anna Kitzerow, Kubota product manager for construction equipment, “with new features that enhance operator comfort and make daily operation more efficient and easier to manage.”

The SVL65-2s promises to provide a versatile, operator-friendly option for contractors and landscapers needing compact power without sacrificing performance.
