Updated on

316 Upper Hill Chambers is a 104-metre, 26-storey tower located on 2nd Ngong Avenue in Upper Hill, about 2km from the Nairobi central business district.

The newly-built skyscraper has joined the exclusive list of tallest buildings in Kenya, ranking ahead of the Nairobi GTC Residential Tower 4 and the Social Security House – which closes the 17-member list of city buildings with a height of more than 100 metres.

Owned by Upper Hill Chambers Ltd., which is associated with renowned city lawyer Fred Ngatia, 316 Upper Hill Chambers Tower boasts 26 floors comprising three basement parking floors; ground floor; mezzanine floor; five upper parking floors; and 15 Grade A office floors.

Designed to reduce external noise, heat, and glare from sunlight, the building has a huge arcade on the ground floor, as well as roof-top penthouses that offer stunning views of the city and its environs.

The 316 Upper Hill Chambers tower uses solar as its main source of energy, which greatly reduces the reliance of the electric power – thus contributing to a greener environment.

Upper Hill Chambers was built by China Wu Yi Company. It is the latest addition to the Upper Hill’s real estate sector, which is popular with firms seeking to expand their operations away from the city centre.
